Please excuse my 9 gazillion pictures of blue sky, clouds, my dog, and my lame-oh things I do for fun. Thank you. So, while we're not distracted by the important conversations of life, you know, where my 5 and 4 year old and I sit down with cups of tea and discuss things like, say, if pirates would still be pirates were they to cease their
pirately activities, or if Princess Diana was named Princess Diana because she was going to die before humans should die, and if words can technically be considered
rhymes if the words you're
rhyming them with are made up words. Well, I guess I'm exaggerating a little... we don't have tea. But the rest is true, I swear. Anyway, when we're not distracted by that type of stuff, we like to take our dog for a run/walk up by the radio towers. We aren't technically "Going
Losting" because I would feel very guilty should I do that without Frank, but it's as close as I can get and still have a clean conscience, while he slaves away at the office. So, here is our pics from today of our LOVELY LOVELY LOVELY bright
sunshiny blue sky, and the fun we had...

Please note: Blue Sky-Glistening Clouds-Rolling*Muddy*Hills-
Melty Snow

Regal Dog! And happy... she'll run up here for as long as I let her. Sadly, we have to return to Earth at some point.
AHAHAHA! I love the Callie-In-Action Shots!

Please excuse this crazy dog lady!
BLUE SKY! Please don't imagine me doing a jig.

The thin layer of clouds over the valley, and yep, the dog.

Two members of our Sanitarium... One in a summertime halter dress, and the other marched through the snow with her Sunday flat
sparkly shoes--they would NOT be
dissuaded from wearing this apparel. I did indeed try. Thankfully, nary a complaint was heard with regards to the cold or the wet. Quite surprising, really.

After that we made our way back out to the road, and drove through the huge puddles a sum total of 14 times, trying to capture the puddle at it's very highest in the view from my cockpit. It is an odd thing to drive while watching the
RO-AD on my camera screen.

We very inappropriately cut a few corners with regards to the actual driving surfaces... oops!

Hey, we had to turn around somewhere!

So we could splash some more...

Our blissful view, coming back down from Badger Mountain. I don't think it's possible to get tired of it.

I leave you with this final thought, which I have been pondering quite a lot due to the excessive amounts of tuna I've been eating lately... If tuna is called the chicken of the sea, then shouldn't chicken be called tuna of the land?
Thank you, and good day!
Wow, that's quite a shot of Callie with cavernous maw wide open...I'm so glad she and I are friends, too!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots of the white and blue winter scenes, as always...K and B must be numb with happiness to endure those temps with those clothes...they are made of heartier stuff than their Gramma G! :-)
Hey, send some of that blue sky and snow our way, okay? Brrr, your girls make me freeze just looking at them!
ReplyDeleteAhhhh, so pretty, Naomi! I cracked up out loud at the picture of your dog, teeth bared, lips flared back. You just gotta love big dogs, they're great!
ReplyDeleteCallie or charging rhino?
