October Farmer's Market & Downtown

Momma, you gotta take some train pics for Poppa!! (Here you go dad-your granddaughters know you well!)
Face Paint at the Farmer's Market...
My favorite roofline on the downtown buildings... and autumn colors creeping in, yay!
It's tradition to walk over the bridge... the girls LOVE this bridge. Actually, we all do.
It's beautiful...
A new exhibit in the continuing Art on the Avenue exhibit. I LOVE the Art on the Avenue's... such a great thing about this town. The girls decided that these bears were NOWHERE NEAR as good as Auntie A's... :-)

Acorns... lovely.

My all time favorite sculpture... should I ever win the lottery (that would require actually playing the lottery, haha!) I will be commissioning one of these for my yard... it totally captures my fancy. I love it.

Playing on the old train cars in the waterfront park... Miss America was here this day, a local business-Drop Dead Fabulous is decorating the bridge in bras to raise awareness for Breast Cancer Month--Miss America came and signed one for them. Such a neat way to raise awareness of this scary cancer. I was waiting for my princessly minded girls to notice Miss America's tiara, and they never did... very surprising.
Pear-a-dise... indeed. Oh, Autumn in the valley, how I love you.
The water fountain we love...
Unposed-and showing off her favorite brown boots she's insisting on wearing with everything, even her black Sunday dress. Sigh. However did this child get to be so big?!
Gratuitous Rovey Shot... Urban Rovey. I didn't have a chance to move Rovey and take a better one--the traffic was frightful on this glorious day... it might take me a few tries to pose Rovey correctly in this alley without holding other folks up. Is it weird that I LOVE ALLEY WAYS?! Yes? Well, I am alright with that. There's something so small town about them that I just love.
Have a lovely week!

Love trains! Beautiful girls, sweet face paint. Love boots w/all outfits...on kids at least. The pic of Rovey looks like it was taken in a European village. Great photos!!

  4. Very cool alley way. That's funny, I always think of big cities instead of small towns with alleys : )

  8. Love all your pictures! So beautiful! Looks like tons of fun! I do not have a Land Rover. I am currently driving a Honda Accord with a family of mice living in the trunk.
    Don't be jealous.

  10. Major fun! I love the face paint! I'm not a fan of all this breast cancer bra stuff. Putting bras on bridges seems super silly to me.
