Dirty Laundry

So, the other day I finished my laundry from our trip to Wyoming. Then, later that evening, when I was walking by the girls room, I heard a lot of giggling coming from an unknown and slightly muffled location. Hmmmmmm... Upon further inspection, it appeared to be coming from the laundry hamper. Now, this gave me quite a start, because the laundry piles up around here quite quickly, but NEVER so quickly as to grow into something capable of giggling so fast!!! That usually takes a few weeks at least. :-) So, I circled the laundry hamper a few times, trying to get up the nerve to peek inside....


First I circled it this way....Then I circled it that way...
Finally, I inspected the top very closely, in case putrid laundry would leap out upon me when I opened the lid... hey, if it can giggle, you never know...Finally, I steeled myself for the worst, and carefully lifted the lid. Oh my gracious! I am so glad my laundry isn't alive!!!These kiddos thought it was quite funny...

Fortunately, we'll be able to save wrestling with giggling wiggling laundry for another day. I may not post about it due to shame, if it ever does happen.

Note to self: Get the girls a new laundry hamper.

Second note to self: Have girls clean their room BEFORE being adorable inside the laundry hamper.

Third note to self: Do more laundry.
