Oh, that's so wrong! I hope they didn't touch the wrong end of that thing while putting it in place! And you know how kids absentmindedly put things in their mouths, and then come find you for a kiss...
Oh yeah. I wasn't really paying attention to them... obviously. But after I found that I was thinking about it, and realized that while I was focusing on a sewing project they were chasing each other around the house screaming and hitting each other with things and "going swording". So I think that might have been part of their swording arsenal. Euwww! I also found a wooden spoon, a spatula, and a salad tong. I think I will stick all that stuff in the d-wa. Also cleaned off the "swy wopper" really good so next time I find it in odd places around the house I don't feel as tho my whole house is defiled. Until next summer anyhoo.
ack!!! j. loves the fly swatter too and we literally have to hide it from him... we live on a farm, with lots of cows and therefore many fly swatting marathons ensue... he got his first hockey stick this year (a mini one). he thought it was a fly swatter and kept splatting it around... although gross that is a very funny picture... doesn't it amaze you how much little hands can get into and mess up in such a short time??? UNBELIEVABLE!! :)
Hey Adkins Fam--that's awesome! I never knew anyone else who calls it the D-wa. Frank rolled his eyes at me the first 40 times I said it, but he's used to me now. I love to shorten words, and if it's catchy, so much the better. :-)
Yummmm...fly swatter on the pillow! Sweet dreams! Auntie G
ReplyDeleteYeah... I think I'm going to boil my sheets this afternoon. Gross!
