Scrambled Crayons?
I took this pic of Saddle Rock yesterday while sledding. I'm quite in love with Wenatchee in the Winter, I must say. It is SO BEAUTIFUL here! I'm going to have to do a sledding post soon... so many fun pics!
Happy New Year!
Year's end is neither an end nor a beginning but a going on, with all the wisdom that experience can instill in us. ~Hal Borland (I love this quote!)
I read this in my morning devotions, it seemed particularly fitting for New Year's Eve...
For He who is mighty has done great things for me, and Holy is His name. And His mercy is on those who fear Him, from generation to generation. Luke 1:49,50
I love how this referenced the "great things" the Lord has done (for me!) in the past, as well as his promises for us in the future, and our children. He could even now be waiting for just one person to come to Him, before He takes us home. Even so, quickly come, Lord Jesus!
That's funny, my girls had the same tendency to line things up in a row. Mainly it was stuffed animals...over, and over again. I think it's an important part of their development.

the gate is ingenious! much harder to navigate that thing, for an ambusher, if there's ambush afoot say, than to simply open a door and perform said ambush. and the "cleanliness to perfection" -- you'd miss that living room neighborhood if nobody ever made one again. :-) the winter scene is awesome! i love it when the lighting makes the landscape look so rugged! have a great year! or whatever portion of it we're here for ...

It totally cracks me up how OCD B is. It totally runs in the family (Dad). It makes me think about how all the dials in Dads car are always pointing up when he is done driving. Cracks me up! I love the snow pics. B and I are dreaming of when we can move there! Aunti G
ReplyDeleteI love those verses; I've had them on my fridge most of the year.
